Tiime to Celebrate

Good Morning and HAPPY NEW YEAR I hope this will be a good one for you. Did you have a busy one or a quiet one like me. I spent it with my son and his girlfriend eating and watching a film promptly followed by all 3 of us falling asleep well guess that means we where relaxed. We all woke just before the clock at midnight to welcome it in.

Now as it is Wednesday that can only mean that it is CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS time and for our 1st challenge of the year it could only be CELEBRATIONS this could be any celebration.

This challenge also see our new DT's join us but sadly this is the last one for one of our teamies Rebakah we wish her well and hope to see her joining us in a few challenges along the way.

Now we where very lucky to have been given some images to play with and i picked this cutie called Mimi stars 4

DP is Papermania from many moons agao. Flower is made from several flat flowers and a wild orchid rose coloured with distress ink. Memory box die, die cut sticker sentiment, doily from the range, M.S punch with ribbon along the centre, image coloured with my promarkers. Dont normally do black hair but fairly happy with it although think i still need some practise. I have kept it in a Lilac theme too. Oh and of course some glitter for the stars.

Eye's Down Look in to CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS

Good morning my blog has been a little quiet this last week and I have missed a few DT creations as I havent been very well again and after being sent home from hospital last Tuesday they decided after a further look at me on Thursday they should keep me in and a few drips and some TLC and a little creeping they let me home. So with that I have some sad news with this and other bits going on at home I have decided to step down from my post at DREAM VALLEY this has be an enjoyable time there and as they had a DT Call felt it right that my place could go to someone that could spend more time. I see that they have picked some really talented people and will be announcing the name very very soon.

Good evening hope you are all well this evening. The weather has been lovely few grey clouds but the sun burnt them away. Well today at Creative Inspirations our  Nat would like to see SENTIMENTS as your main focal point.

for my card I used Chipboard letter which I painted then glittered. This was made for a friend for her work collegues. She wanted just a simple card with the word Thanks on.

 a slightly side view to show how thick the letters are and hopefully the glitter. I used the same paper as I did for her 50th bithday card which i need to blog. Think the are Basic Pastel papermania pack. Memory box corners. Punched flowers with gem centres. Mirri card for added shine. " stripes of ribbon white sheer with a purple satin over the top.

Seems they liked it that much they asked if I did orders. Not too bad for a CAS and something completely out of my comfort zone seems strange no image.

In The Garden with Creative Inspiration

Hello and welcome didnt we do well today at the olympic and may this just be the start of the medals. Well done to all. Now who doubted that Bradley wouldnt win gold.

Ok it is Wednesday again and that means another fab challenge at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS. This week our challenge is IN THE GARDEN now wouldnt we all like to be there if the sun would come out yes it is raining here in Manchester although it is warm and I did think about doing some washing.

For my card I used this fab Hydrangea stamp which I also have a sticker to match but tried my hand at colouring with my promarkers. Picture isnt brilliant but I placed the sticker next to it and I must say was fairly pleased with it. I am not the best person to colour flowers. Dp is dovecraft and some other I have had for ages. This is a 8x8inch card which was commissioned by a neighbour for his ex wife. How nice is that. Use a M.S. punch for the butterfly. The Happy Birthday is from a old SeeD set i have. Memory box diecut in top corner and the oval was cut with a Xcut die. Some ribbon and a few pearls coloured to match to finish. I have done the inside to match.

Today I have had my cards featured on MayzyArt Blog. I was so chuffed as I just love her images and I am slowly adding to collection of them. Mayzy Art does Creative Inspirations Sketch Challenge

Good morning it is hump day so half way to the weekend. Wednesday brings another challenge at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS and we have a new sponsor for you this week. Today should have been sponsored by Handy Hippo but sadly they where unable to sponsor us for the time being. This left the challenge at very late notice with no sponsor. This weeks challenge is a sketch oh I love Natalie's sketches. You can flip it, resize, but all elements must be on show and we can see the sketch to qualify.

 

Ok now which image did I pick from Mayzy's fab catalogue. This image is called Natsuko and comes from her round the world theme. Oh how I would love to see these in real life and can only dream of it. There gardens are just stunning and I can just imagine her walking to the garden.

I have coloured with my promarkers and used my Cherry Lynn flourish die, my M.S. round the edge punch 2 ribbons from local shop. small flowers from stash. The Dp has glitter on the flowers I am not sure if I managed to catch it on the picture along with the shimmer on the parasol from my glitter jelly roll pen. the paper is from First Edition called Love Letters. I used Distressed inks for the floor.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOps it is CASE TIME Again

Good morning is it still morning I am running so late feel like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. What is it they say more hast less speed. Well as this should have been on my blog yesterday as the Challenge for Creative Inspirations starts on Wednesday please for give me. Good morning well it is back to normal again all the celebrations are over with and just the children on school holidays. Hope you had a good weekend and the weather didn't dampen your spirits. Chris managed to get the 2 days off after all so was nice for him think it has been the 1st time he has had a Bank Holiday off in ages.
