Sentiment is computer generated and some epoxy sticker squares and paper clips from stash. The square metal clip on the sentiment is from stampin up.

Good morning have you had a good week. Mine has been busy children locally are all back to school and early morning are back to us all.

Well this week at DIVAS BY DESIGN we have a brilliant theme called

now this doesnt mean we are only allowing tags if you add a tag to your card then please enter it we are waiting to see your fabulous creations

So before you run off to make your creation or pop along to the challenge blog for insiration here is my tag.

I have used Inkylicious Black Forest stamp across a luggage tag coloured with Memento Danube Blue ink then black Memento inked the stamp and stamped across inked up just the tips of the trees and stamped at the foot of the trees to ground them. added some glitter on the trees and ground for snow and the sentiment is a Stampfairy design. A very simple tag with no embellishments but i think i will use for christmas presents for some of my male family members.

Hope you like and a little something different for me been saying I will use my ink dusters and have ago. Let me know what you think should i carry on trying to improve or just stick to my stamp and colouring.

For my card for your inspiration I have used a image from our sponsor Bugaboo stamps 

The card is a 8x8inch and is celebrating the birth of a baby boy. This will be put away for a friends baby which is due any time and yes they do know they are having a boy

I have kept is CAS as this is a large image which I have coloured with my Promarkers & Distressed Inks,

Dp is from a very very old pad and the embossing folder is called latice, some spotted ribbon from stash and some large gems for the corner.

Good morning and Happy Tuesday today we have another fab challenge at CRAFTY SENTIMENTS for you. It is Team B's turn and this week it is the lovely Jac that is hosting it.

Today i have used this fab Tobey Arr Captain stamp which you can find in the shop here you will also find a little girl as the Captain too if you are looking for a female version. Doesn't he look the part with his trusted friend POLLY.

I have coloured it with my promarkers, dovecraft paper pack from way back. The map is a stamp I bought when i first started crafting. I have stamped distressed and torn in half. Some string and lots of jewels as only Pirates love. The sentiment is a Whimsey stamp.

So now you can go hopping and hope that you can find a stamp with a animal on to join us. Dont forget if it is a Crafty sentiments stamp to add #3 after your name for extra chances to win.

2nd Day of New Release for CRAFTY SENTIMENTS

Good morning did you catch the 1st day of the sneak peep of the New release for Crafty Sentiments over at the Inspirational Blog. If not checkout what the girls have produced and also there will be more projects today. If you are loving them you will be able to purchase them over at the shop from tomorrow.

However before you go rushing off let me show this cutie called Scruff.

He is enjoying a nice afternoon fishing with his little pal. Dont they look peaceful.

I have used my promarkers to colour him and some distressed ink for the background and water with a touch of gloss but not sure it shows on the picture. Dies are Joy Butterfly boarder, Memory box butterfly. The flowers are hand made with scraps of paper and a sizzix leaf. Few gems to the dies. DP is from stash and I think could be Basic Grey. The birds are hand drawn and not on the stamp.

Chocolate Boxes Gets a Make Over

Hi and good morning my post is scheduled so fingers crossed it work. I will be travelling off to Wales so please prey for some nice weather Caravan and rain doesnt mix.

Well today means another challenge at CRAFTY CATZ and this week it is one of our extremely talented and beautiful GDT the lovely INGRID. If you havent visited her blog yet omg your missing out. what that girl can do with baby wipes and bits and bobs. So what has she for us this week.

yes dont run for the hills as i nearly did. Have a peep around and see what you can do to change something. Dont forget ribbons off boxes. buttons off old clothing and jars about to go in the bin.

so what have I recycled.

A box of yummy chocolates I got for christmas. i knew I kept it for a reason.

It is a nice good strong box and thought I could put some flowers in when I get round to making them.

So what did I do with it.

Coat of Burnt Umber paint followed by gold fine spray and time to decorate.

grab a cuppa wasnt sure which picture was best so you get all three

I have used dies from Memory Box, Sue Wilson leaves and classic rose (omg I had to cut each out on its own to get a clean cut ) & Spellbinders . Chain, gems and my love knot punch for the sides.

Took me ages to make the flowers and hope you like it.

Little Miss Muffet GDT Post

Good morning I am here with a GDT spot for Little Miss Muffet I was so thrilled to be asked to guest for them. I was equally thrilled that I was allowed to go and pick a image from their store omg have you had a look there is some amazing images/stamps. Kid in a candy shop came to mind.

Well today is  the start of a new challenge there was some fabulous baby creations last time. i do hope you can come and join us and show the team some love they are so talented.

I have coloured this sweetie with my promarkers and the little tag is a stamp I found in my stash. Kept the layout simple to show off this fabulous image. Die is a spellbinder that the image is sat on. DP is from a pad called fairytale from last year some lovely delicate seam binding from crafty ribbons and a few pearls to finish off. i added a little 3d gloss on the puppys nose not sure if it shows up.

It is Everyones Favouite at CRAFTY SENTIMENTS

Good morning gosh that wind we had yesterday least it didnt do any damage and it brought us some nice sunshine too. 

Well today being Tuesday means that we have a new challenge for you at CRAFTY SENTIMENTS and this week it is everyones favouite

So let me show you my card I made for your inspiration. It is a stamp I had seen in the shop and have been iching to get my hands on it. It is called LETS SWIM and you can find it here

I think I will be able to use it a good few times as Swim Birthday Parties are a big thing in my area.

This is a large 8x8 inch card as the stamp is quite a large one and I wanted to show it off to full effect so didnt want to clutter the card. A simple layout with Sue Wilson dies and a fern punch, some buttons a touch of glitter card to mount the image which was cut with a Xcut die. Chipboard letters and a few blue gems. Image has been coloured with my promarkers.

Hope you like my card i am sure you will agree he is a real cutie making friends with the fish.

All at Sea with Divas By Design

Good evening have you had a good day I hope so. It started off raining here in Manchester but by dinner we have some lovely warm sunshine.

 My son had a bad accident at work with a cystal glass nearly took his middle finger off when it broke. Rushed off to A & E no one could drive so he had to go on his own, Really not good in my opinion. Hey Hoe 2 xrays nurse said omg that is bad and look at the blood. Lol. Well he had glass in it so had to be cut further cleaned and stitched another mill and he woud have nerve and tendon damage.

He is off camping next week and has been told not to use it for 3 weeks at least so how he will put a massive tent up god knows. Have spent this afternoon trying to find a caravan with his budget as he was going on a tight budget with his girlfriends child.

Anyway I have been doing some colouring to get rid of the stress and have my Dt card for you this evening for DIVAS BY DESIGN and this week we have a Sea theme so anything to do with the sea, Mermaids, ships, fish .

We also have the results of our GDT / DT call so if you have entered pop along and check it out.

So onto my card I have used a stamp from CRAFTY SENTIMENTS called Primrose Mermaid and you can find it in the shop along with some other stamps that would fit the theme.

I have used DP from stash, Sequin waste, Lace from local shop, Viva pearls, Hessin cut with a Tim holts die held together with a Gem Brad, sentiment is also from Crafty Sentiments. The scallop circle has been scored to give a shell like effect with glitter round the edge of the stamped image.

Good evening omg where did the weekend go. I have been busy watching the road race on the TV oh we did well didnt we and wow Mr Thomas had me on my seat with his wheel trouble was creaming at the man changing his wheel he took so long. Oh well he won so that was good not many finished compared to how many started but in that rain surprised there wasnt more spills.

Crafty Sentiments DT Card - ATG

Good evening are you all having a good week well all the children are on holiday and it is surprisingly quiet round here think they have all picked the same week to go away.

Anyway this being Tuesday can only mean I am here with my CRAFTY SENTIMENTS DT card and challenge.

This week it is Erins first time to host the challenge so please pop along and join us.

As it is anything Goes no excuse not too. My make was for one of my nephews teachers she retire last week as the school closed for the summer holidays. She is a lovely lady and will be sadly missed. While looking through the shop for a stamp I saw this and OMG this just looked like her so had to use.

The stamp is called JASMIN CHILLING and you can find it here in the shop

I kept t fairly simple with 3d gloss of the image. Jasmin is sat on a background from Make It Crafty. Flowers are Prima Die cuts with gem centres. Lovely big orange satin bow. Tonic punch used on the strip of DP behind the image. DP is Minds Eye 12x12 paper. This is one of my larger cards a 8inch square

Well i hope you like as much as the teacher and my nephew was really chuffed with it as he thought it looked like her.

So onto my project I am bring you a present I made a friend for her birthday last month.

The box is from a local shop which had some lovely white flowers stamped on but the box was a very vivid blue colour so i used some watered down paint to mute the colour. I have used a Cherrylyn Flourish, flowers from wild orchid and ribbon and lace from stash. The centre of the box has a small photo section which I stamped a heart  with a little sentiment and framed it with a Marrianne Heart. 

I hope you like as much as my friend as i saw a nice picture of her new craft room and spyed my little box.

Here Comes Summer at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS

Hi i am here with my last GDT post for Creative Inspirations have loved every minute of it and it has brought back some lovely memories of my first design team. Thanks girls for inviting me back for the last 2 months.

This week they are celebrating SUMMER so would like to see lots of summery creations.

We where allowed to play with some images from our sponsor and i used this cutie

Image coloured with promarkers fussy cut out and placed on spellbinder and Marrianne dies. Used my tonic punch for the boarder and added some ribbon. Sentiment is a lilli of the valley on a spellbinder die. DP's are all old basic grey papers from way back. Flowers cut with the marrianne die that came with the frame and some pearls to finish.

Well i hope you like and can come and play along the challenge has been extended till 12th of August while the team takes a little break.

Day 2 Sneak Peep of Crafty Sentiments New Release

Good Morning I am here today with day 2 of the Sneak Peeps for the new release at Crafty Sentiments. All stamps will be released in the shop tomorrow. This has been a secret release so other than this stamp I hadnt seen any of them. I know you will be as keen as myself to see them all. So before you hop over to the blog to check them all out let me share with you mine.

Christmas Seasons July New Stamp Release- Christmas Wreath

Ingredients to make a Christmas Wreath

Christmas Seasons Stamp, Promarkers, Modpodge sparkle, Wide Christmas Ribbon, Chipboard Wreath, String, Co ordinations Card in 2 colours, Glitter Card, Pearls, Spellbinder Layered Poinsettia Die, Marianne Designs Creatables CR1253 &LR024 fern punch

Method

First I coloured my image with my promarkers then gave alight coat of Modge Podge to seal and protect

Take chipboard wreath and wrap string around to give a base. Making a Loop at the top to hang

Die cut the 3 Large Flowers & 2 Flowers assemble and glue together with a pearl centre

Cut plenty of the foliage and glitter punched fern

Layer the foliage and glue down I used pva glue

Tie a double bow and glue with a hot glue gun

Arrange your flowers and add the glitter fern among them

Cut your image out just slightly smaller than the original size of the wreath making sure that your image is centred so it shows in the opening

When the arrangement is set turn over and add plenty of glue to the backside

Place your image down and glue in place. You can add another circle behind the image the size of the wreath to protect and give the centre strength. Wait for the glue to dry and then display your finished project.

Well hope you like and I was really pleased with the result and must say it is something I dont ususally do more a card person but enjoyed doing. I hope that the instructions are clear enough for you to try it really didnt take me very long. Might be doing a few for the teachers this year.

HOT SUMMER COLOURS/ HOT SUMMER

Before you hop over to check out the rest of the teams creations and the winners from last week. Let me share with you my card featuring the digi stamp SMOKIN HOT from Saturated Canary.

I coloured the image with my promarkers then used my marmalade Distressed Ink around the image. Cut out then matted onto a spellbinder die. The DP is K & CO Hotscotch. Added some Raffia. I made a beach bag and a pin wheel as embellishments with some oddments of paper. A few Gems to  finish off. Hot spicy  colours to reflex the heat of summer. Hopefully now the children break up for the school holidays the weather will be kind to them and their parents
