Sketchie Time with Papertake Weekly

Good evening this is my last post as Guest DT at Papertake Weekly gosh that month has gone so quick and I must say they have been brilliant challenge. So thanks girls and Dawn for having me I have loved it.

Well this week is Sketch time and wow what a cracking sketch. I love sketches it is a excellent starting place and always think it takes the hard work out of it. I have used a Penny Black which I have had for a good while and always enjoy making it up.

I coloured this with my promarkers and some distressed ink for the clouds. Used a oval nestie and my fancy scissors for the image. Some Wide Satin ribbon from Abakan flowers from Oyster and Hobby craft. Papers are 1st edition and Dovecraft. My M. S. Punch and some papermania pearls to finish. I have used the same Dp for the inside.

Eyes Down Look In at Papertake Weekly

Good evening sorry this is a little late but have had such a busy day but at least my car past it's MOT with flying colours. Just got back from taking my nephew to his swimming lesson and they had tea wit me and Chris. The dog is flaked out next to my feet he has walked twice to Tyldesley today and think the lovely sunshine has tired him out. Well onto my card for this weeks Papertake Weekly Guest Spot

Now onto my project for this challenge. I couldn't decide which line to pick and I recently received a Mini Album from Sassy which I so wanted to have a go at. Well as it was my friends Jules birthday on Sunday I decided to have ago . Jules loved it and so I hope you will. Below are pictures of the 3 pages. Can you believe that they started out as Toilet Roll insides i think this is a perfect recycle project too.

Now onto my card for your inspirations. I have used this stamp from Whiff of Joy of Oakley in the bath.

My 1 is my image, 2 ribbons, 3 buttons. I have added 3d gloss and glitter to the soap bubbles. Image is coloured with promarkers and papers are papermania and laura ashley. Sentiment is a digi that i got from somewhere sorry didn't save the name. Ribbon from Crafty Ribbon and a local shop.

Exciting News- Papertake Weekly Challenge

Good afternoon hope you are still off work and enjoying the long weekend. I watch the concert on TV must say it wasn't half bad love the light effects on the palace. Now those of you that saw my post yesterday saying I was excited to be able to announce some new but not till today well I can now tell you.

Yesterday I got an email from Dawn at Papertake Weekly asking if I would be there Guest DT for June. Seems the email should have gone last Tuesday but for some reason didn't send. Well it took me all of 2 seconds to says yes. She didn't expect me to make a card for this week as it was so late. Not on your nelly I ran up stairs and and made this card straight away.

The challenge this week is a nice easy one as well so that helped.

Now onto my card I used this image from Mo's digital pencil which I won way back called Video Boy.

Keep the colours of Black,grey and white for the papers and embellishments so the image stood out. Image is coloured with my promarkers. Used Dp from gemstones, dovecraft all have been in my stash for far too long. Sentiment is a whimsey stamp. Candy dots and black gems from mia flower. Nestie to frame the image.

I have decorated the inside to match the front.
