Stampavie and more challenge card

This week over at stampavie and more we where given this fab sketch.
I decided that i would make a babies birthday card so used a tilda image and some papermania papers used nice bright yellow and pinks and blue. Added a few yellow silk flowers and tiny blue brads for centres and added a little pink pram i had in my stash.

Tilda at the seaside

I have combined 2 challenges with this card. Just Magnolia and The Tilda Challenge on the DC forum.
Just Magolia's brief was to do a shape card well have used my new nestie for this the large label.
DC forum brief was all the colours of the Ocean and to add some gems and alittle of the sea.
Well have used a rub on for the star fish and sea weed a few gems a few beads for the fish and the shells.

Over on A Spoon Full of Suger they are celebrating their birthday so the challenge this week is to make a celebration card. I have decided that Everyone need a Birthday Card so here it is.

Sugar nellie daisy stamp. Watercoloureded and 3d glossed. Flower from a hydrander in silver grey. Papers are from my stash think are papermainia, Embellishment and buttons from stash and my new labels nestie which i watercoloured the edge with pink glitter pen. happy Birthday stamp was from a ebay seller sent from USA free with some stamps i purchased.

Summer Whiff Of Joy

Well It is that time again doesnt the week go quick only seems yesterday that i made last weeks challenge card.
Over on the fab Whiff of Joy challenge blog the talented Heather has come up with this stunning sketch. If you havent entered there challenges what you waiting for.
Decided to use one of the new fab summer images that a kind and very talented docrafter sent me till i mangae to get some myself. Car expenses prevented me from getttin the kit.

Whiff of Joy Challenge Week 30

Over on The Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog the theme this week is Friends. There is no layout the one condition is you must have 1 Whiff of Joy image.
I decided to use this guardian Angel image as best friends are often your guardian angel and the quote is " Best friends are the siblings god forgot to give us"
Paper is papermania and used my new nestie. Flower is from hobby craft.

Daisy and dolly

Well what can i say other than i had to play with my new goodies. Daisy and Dolly from Sugar Nellie. Papermaina dottie paper. My new Nesties Label turned at an angel. Card is more Aqua blue than the picture shows. Base card is Pale Green to match Daisys top. Blue Silk Flowers and same colour blue gems. Pale blue satin thin ribbon through blue metalic eyelets.

Craft Fair Goodies

These are my goodies i got from the fair in leigh today had a wonderful day with a docraft friend. Christine aka Tilly trotter got a couple of other things but 1 for me off tilly for my birthday and another for another friend. Spent too much but it isnt like everyday is it.

Pink Miss Anya

Just love these stamps and cant wait to get my hands on the new ones.
Paper is Papermaina and pink mulberry paper stitched, Flowers are from Sainburys,and a touch of white lace. Have left the sentiment off till i decide what i will use it for.

ABC Challenge Wallet and Eisbarin's candy challenge

Sketch is provided by the very talented Alex if you havent seen her work get over there now she is amazing. You have to make her laugh with a joke or make a card with her sketch. Rubbish at jokes so have made this. Kay on docrafts is hosting the ABC challenge W for wallet so have combined both.

Not a Happy Day

Well went to deliver the belated card which she liked and just before i got home i had a car accident. I am ok thank god but got to sort car today so no craftying and needed what money i had for the craft event tomorrow.
Sat waiting to turn right into my road conditions dark and raining sat under a street light and cars coming towards me so couldnt turn when a hugh almighty bang. Turned round to look and a young lad aged 16 fellow off his bike. he had hitthe back of my car . He got up but was shaken and banged his hip and ellbow. So have to sort this. He lived over a mile away and couldnt push his bike so it is sat on my drive and i took him home. Poor lad. So today i have to see if someone can give me a quote on the damage hope it isnt much.

Lad has picked his bike up and estimate of £350 so not too bad lads dad not happy still waiting to see if he wants me to go through insurance or if they want to do it private. Dad said the lad has to sell his bike poor thing. I think. Looks like i will end up £250 down on my excess why do it always happen when there is a craft show in town. lol

Belated Birthday Card

I made this for my sister in law it was her birthday last week and her card has gone missing in the post. Used Friday Sketchers sketch and the Monday Papertake theme of animal. Just love this image and so very right for this occassion. Orange card is cuttlebuged embossed and the gold is a satin finish The cream is a pearlised finish and a mat brown background.Flowers are silk yellow and orange with paper roses.Swirl is a sizzlet die.

1 card 2 challenges

The challenge over at creative inspiration is embossing so have joined the challenge with the Truly Scrumptious challenge with their great sketch and the theme of spots, circles and dots. The image is a new one from polly craft designs i bought this week. Love it. Flowers are a small punch and leaves are hand cut. The embossing folder is a cuttlebug and i have used a versamark pad and then brushed various colours of cosmic shimmer over which doesnt show up on the picture.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge

Made this for this weeks challenge over at the Sugar Bowl Blog. Great Sketch by Marlene and you had to add buttons.

Used this sugar nellie image that a friend gave me really must get the stamp stunning. papers are papermania from my stash and silver grey satin ribbon. Button centres for the flowers are from my old button tin which i have old buttons from garments.

Just Magnolia Challenge card

This weeks challenge over at Just Magnolia is Stitching real faux anything that looks like stitching. As i love doing faux round my edges takes the eye away from it if it isnt to neat. lol Used Tilda from the winter collection think this is such a great image. Water coloured and added a few flowers sentiment and used pear drop colours. Pink and lemon. Yummy just like tilda.

Stamp with Stampavie challenge & meet challenge

Just love these Sarah Kaye Images. Water coloured and used Basic Grey papers and silk and mulberry flower. Few gems and a touch of ribbon and a circle sentiment.

Polly Craft Design Entry Flowers

Well have you seen these fab new downloads over at Polly Craft Designs. I want and need them all. Lol Just had to have a play and as the new challenge was flowers thought that i would do this. I know the image doesnt have flowers but you can use flowers anywhere and i had this flower stamp so made my own backing paper and punched a few flowers added some glitter and a sentiment and hey presto.

Stampin Up Demo Card

This is the demo card we did at the Stampin Up arranged at the Manchester Meet. Hope you like it. Stamped the flowers twice onto patterned paper and then layered up.

DC Kit Swop

This is the fab kit i received from Andrea over on docrafts. I really enjoyed playing with the materials and have uploaded andreas to show how different people can make cards from the same materials. Andreas is the 1st one and mine is the trifold one.
