Card from MIA

Well for anyone a regular to my blog they will know that i posted a card few posts down for a little girl called MIA well she received her card and was trilled and look what arrived this morning a thank you card. Well Mia if you are reading this on Grandma's computer thank you so much and you are clever for just & years old. Lots of yummy thing I love on this.

Crafty Catz challenge 37 - Shape Card

Well good morning and gosh it is Friday again cant believe the weeks are flying by at this rate we will be our Christmas stamps out. Well being Friday it is time for another challenge at Crafty Catz. This time it is Suzanne's turn to set the challenge and she has given us the challenge to make A SHAPE CARD Now any shape as long as it isn't Square or Rectangle.

Well I struggled with this challenge not sure what shape card to make so decided i would make a easel card with my nesties and mount another to the side with the image on. It is a little small and you do have to have a smallish stamp but think it worked. I used one of my stamp I got for my birthday from a friend. Isn't she the cutest. Coloured with my promarkers and added a flower and some feathers with a few pearls. Papers are from a fee pack that came with a magazine. I am entering this into a few challenges listed below which fits with this challenge. Do you like Easel cards I just love them, love the wow factor they give when people receive them. Well this evening I made this easel with a image from Mo manning . Isnt she lovely and my Dad says she reminds him of me when i was little . I ask myself well what happened to my looks then. I have coloured this in colours of Britian with all the football and the england flags flying. Couldnt do just england flags as I am Welsh and I have so many Scottish friends and family. Used my new MS punch which Janette bought me isnt it great. Flowers and ribbon from stash. Papers are from a old papermania pad.

Creative Inspirations wednesday blog does One for the Boys

Well as i said i would be back and so I am. This week at Creative Inspiration we have a fab challenge for you but before i go onto this week can i just say what a talented bunch you all are. We had a lovely time hopping over to your blogs for last weeks challenge. So pop on over and see if you won.
Well onto this weeks our theme is " One for the Boys" well with fathers Day this weekend it is perfect timing. So we would love to see something for that man in your life be it husband , brother , son, friend or as we said Fathers Day. This week our own Stephanne is sponsoring us with these yummy goodies. Well for my card I have made a Fathers Day card. The image is from the very talented Mo Manning at www.digitalpenciltoo.com . Coloured with my Promarkers and used some Vellum for the machinery behind the image. Distressed the papers and used distressing inks round the image. The little train is a button and added a few papermania brads in the corners. The fibres are from my stash and the sentiment is from the Creative Cottage. paper is from my stash. Also on pollycraft they have make card that remands you of a song.

Hi hope you are all having a lovely day got a email from Mia's gran she was trilled with her card and loved the image. Janette(gran) says she is making a thank you card so what out Janette competition and watch those promarkers. lol
Well on docrafts we do a friendship swop each month a lovely way of getting to know people. Not sure if Tina has a blog she didnt say so hopefully she will have got this before she sees it on here.

I have used Elizabeth Bells Hello Sunshine from Belles'n Whistles and picked sunshine colours for this. Coloured with my Promarkers. Papers are from papermania. Lace from stash. Flowers and buttons from stash too. Small sentiment stamp is one of the small sets from papermill. Layout is from Friday Sketchers.

Birthday card for Mia

Well hello sorry been missing a few days busy weekend but today i manage to make a card for a friends grand daughter she will be 7 should have had it in the post saturady but didnt realise it was today till yesterday so sorry Mia it is late but hope you like.
I have used Lili of the Valleys sketch and image for this . Love this stamp and was a present from a wonderful friend Avril. Papers are Papermaina and used my cuttlebug embossing folder on some plain pink card. Flowers i won in a blog candy some time ago so i had saved for a special card. As Mia is a special little girl. " rows of tiny flower ribbon. Image coloured with promarkers. Mia is stickers from K&Co they have some lovely glitter on. The happy Birthday is a fabric Sentiment. Crafty Catz #36 Embossing

Good morning all hope you all slept soundly. Got a fun day in store for me a dash to look for a freezer this morning then a trip to the hospital so not a day i am looking forward to but at least it is Friday and another challenge over at Crafty Catz. This week it is Lindseys turn and this will be her 1st DT post she is the 1st of the 3rd of us newbies so please pop over and give her some support. Well she has choosen for us this week a fab challenge to put some embossing somewhere on your project. This could be either Dry embossing or Ink embossing it is all down to you. We all enjoyed your stunning work and you seems to enjoy the Black and Red theme.

Well onto my card I picked Ducan in the bath tub. Coloured with my promaarkers and used 2 cuttlebug embossing folders. Added a few papermania gems and some tiny satin yellow ribbon. placed a few little images at the foot of the paper. 3d the beak and his feet. paper is papermania from many moons ago.I have useed the sketch and colours for the challenge at Papertake WeeklyLemon and Lilac.

Pink Birthday Card

Evening ladies well start of Big Brother so guess you will either be a big fan or hate it. So with the football and this guess there wont be much else of not a while. I can take or leave both so guess i will have lots of time to get my cards done well i hope. Tonight I have a birthday card for a fellow docrafter wont say who in case she is reading this. The image is a freebie from Tiddly Inks now isnt she a cutie. Coloured with my promarkers and used the colour theme of Pink for Passion for Promarkers challenge. The sketch is from this weeks challenge at Totally Gorjess. Papers from my stash and i made a flower with my M.S Punch deep Fan and place a few diecuts on top.Ribbon from stash.

BABIES well I am sure you all must know someone having a baby or even you could make a Birthday Card for a little one or a present. Mo's Terrible 2's

Well I have finished my exam and couldn't say how I went on. Didn't help when we had people turning up late. Then supervisor started chatting to them at the side of me on how to fill their paper in, and to make matter worse she took great delight in walking round and spying over your shoulder. Then she would tell people that you can go now when they had finished and to put your chair in. So much for quiet especially as maths without a calculator is not the easiest. Oh well.
Too celebrate i have just finished this card i made with 2 of Mo's wonderful images those terrible 2's we all remember them. I just had to play with some of my Birthday goodies.

Crafty Catz Challenge#35 Black & Red

Well gosh that week went quick had soo much to do and got soo little done but hasnt the weather been brilliant.
So it is Friday therefore it is time for another challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week it is the lovely Dianne's turn to set the challenge. This week Dianne has gone with a colour theme "Red & Black". So we would like you to make a card or project with prodominate colours of Black & Red but you can add some other if you so choose.

Well I have used a Sweet Pea stamp for my card and coloured with my promarkers added 3d gloss to the dress and flower to make it pop. Touch of glitter for the wings just because a fairy needs her fairy dust. My flowers where actually white but i coloured with my promarker to match the dress. Swirl is a sizzix a few sequins for the centre of the flowers and a butter fly charm. paper is from my stash and i am sorry cant remember what it is from really should put them back in the packs when i am looking through.
