Good morning are you all ready for the long weekend are you planning any celebrations. Don't think there are any street parties around here although if the sun shines I am sure there will be plenty of Barbecues.

Image coloured with my promarkers doesn't that chocolate cake look yummy, buttons lace and ribbon from my stash. Kept it all in shades of pink with DP paper from which has a lovely textured feel to it but you will have to trust me on that.

Good evening well the rain has stopped and the sky is clearing. My garden is feeling the relief from the rain and think it will be growing again. My neighbours kids are all sadden by their rabbit dying as a fox got it and the cheeky think sat on the front lawn waiting for my neighbour to go in so it could finish its meal. My dog keeps going to the fence where the rabbit sits with its nose peeping through they sit nose to nose.

I used the colours Red White & Blue for this card and also made this for my Brother. DP is from my stash and the gems are from QVC in a decoupage kit. Good evening hope you are all enjoying this good weather we are having. My dog is finding it a little hard with all his fur and really enjoys the cool breeze about 8pm. Creative Inspirations Case It Challenge - Caroline

Good morning well sun is shining so that isnt half bad is it. Today being Wednesday sees the start of another challenge at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS and this week is CASE CAROLINE'S CARD. I embossed the Teal card  with a folder from Fiskers and a cuttlebug folder which you can see better on the close up picture. Some lovely ribbon I got from a local shop got a few colours so expect to see more. Few clear star gems and the yellow DP is from Papermania. Sugar Nellie Sketch Challenge

Good evening hope you have had a wonderful day weather has been quite nice here with some sunshine but a fair bit of wind. This evening we have had some rain so hopefully it has cleared for tomorrow.

I have kept it clean lines and as you can see this is for a special birthday and has a modern feel too it

Image is coloured with Promarkers and is by Bugaboo. DP is born to shop, Touch of ribbon just love this how the edges are satin and the middle you can still see the image. The die cuts are from a friend and I believe are Nellie Sheldon. Large 21st Peel off in Silver and computer generated sentiment which I saw on anothe blog but fitted this perfectly. This card I made for my neice gosh only seems five minutes since she was a toddler. Think I am getting old. Tee Hee

I am so liking red on my cards at the minute and normally I run for the hills with Red but not at the moment. Also I had to use some Black to be dramatic and make the image pop. The DP is from a Capsle collectiion by Papermania. Few Red gems some Red Satin ribbon. Touch of lace and a Whispers sentiment stamp. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and added some 3d gloss to the watering can.

For my card I have used this fab Penny Black stamp and coloured it with my Promarkers. The layout is from Sketch  Saturday. the Dp is Papermania with card from the papermill to mount. Papermania pearls Ribbon from stash, flowers from stash and diecut coloured with promarkers. Sentiment is a whisper stamp.

A Diary For A Special Lady

Good afternoon are you having a lovely weekend. Today we have another Fab Challenge at Dream Valley.

My name is Krista Smith. I am the artist behind the Etsy shop, Saturated Canary Digis. I began working in the stamping world about a year ago when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie. They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.' I moved into the digital world just this past month (it's been a super busy month, indeed!). And-- I love it!! There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)! Now onto my project for this challenge and for those that follow my blog know that this week was my Friends Birthday and we agreed that we would not buy each other presents but make something. So I have done a Diary for her to keep track of the challenges she enters and pop ideas in and sketches. I tried to include things that I know she loves.
