Hi folks have you had a good day well I have been busy cleaning and ended up with a such a bad head i couldnt do anything well that will teach me to clean and not craft. Hope you are keeping warm gosh it is so cold. off to Blackpool tomorrow to see my teamie Janette hope she is up to a good chin wag.

#160 Crafty Catz - Snowflakes, Stars & a Sentiment

Good morning my post is a little late so guess this is a reminder. Yesterday saw the start of another challenge at Crafty catz and it is the lovely Dianne's turn to pick the theme.

SNOWFLAKES,  STARS  & A SENTIMENT

Well a niceeasy one with everyone making Christmas Cards this is bound to fit into one of them so I am expecting another fab turn out.

Now on to my card  did a nice simple one and got my tiny stamps out and my brilliance ink and blue distress ink for the background stamping direct to the card blank

A oddment of blue spotted paper and some mirri card. Used my memory box snowflake circle and a penny black stamp which i coloured with my promarkers. Stars are tiny silver one you get in thoses celebration packs. The sentiment is from a old QVC pack i have had in the draw. Few Viva Pearls to finish off. Think this is about a good as i get to clean and simple.

Now I love this colour combo I have made onot 1 card but 2 

1st card I used on of this weeks sponsors images from Sassy studio's called Sexy Santa and wow isnt she sexy and i am sure many a young person would love a call from this santa.

  have coloured her with my promarkers and wish i had this colour hair and also wish i had wrote down the colours i used too. DP is from my stash and added some ribbon i have had for a few years. Liquid pearls and a memory box die. I have added some glitter on her hat scraf and pants but i am not so sure it shows up.

Now for something a little different I have used a image from last weeks sponsor Karen Doodles think I will use this alot for my cards. Memory box die and the frame for the sentiment is from Flonz another of our regular sponsors. Punched boarder and some velvet ribbon which i coloured with my promarkers. DP is from last year think is dovecraft.

Let's Have some Sparkle

Good afternoon hope you are having a good weekend. I have had a busy one starting Friday evening with my friends daughters 30th Birthday party which was fancy dress 1980's. Now 1982 i was expecting my son so wanted to put a pillow up my jumper but no not allowed. Tee Hee so off i went for a Tutu from the local shop. No have no pictures to share I would die if anyone saw that wasnt there. Then Saturday morning my Brother got married what a nice relaxed day we had a simple registrar job and a nice friendly relaxed meal at the local Chinese restaurant not many of us just a small party just as they wanted and order of the day was smart and casual and relaxed. So Congrats to Kate & Greg.

Now with all this excitement I thought I has scheduled my post for Crafty Catz only to find out today that it is sat in Draft oh come back old blogger this never happened then. So those of you that haven't already visited the challenge blog here is what we would like for you to join us.

DP is from Rymans sentiment is a chipboard sticker from stash. Stars die cuts from a accute die, Ribbon from stash , stickles on the star and her dress but dont thinkthe later shows up. I might give this my friends daughter as she is having a 80's birthday party and i think the film is from that decade.
